Quite an introspective, honest and illuminating post! Do you need a style? Of all the things that have ever been, they all have a unique style... an artist renders an image, based on perspective, mood... we all have different interpretations of the same thing, and that can change day-to-day, and over the course of a lifetime.
Actually, having no set style makes you a better artist, more flexible and with different perspectives :)
